Sneak Peak of Heart Quilt!

Okay! Here it is so far!  I got up early and started cutting and sewing!  Not many customers at shop today with bad weather on the way, so I'm sewing all day till it's done and maybe even quilted!  The worst part??? Writing the instructions!!!  Do you spell every detail out? Or assume most know???

  1. Assume nothing.... bwahahaha!
Really, the more directions the better. The biggest complaint I have heard about patterns is schetchy instructions.
How pretty is that heart quilt gonna be. Will you offer kits?

  2. Wonderful piece. I think it depends on the person, some people need step by step and then there are those of us who never follow instructions, anyways, lol.

  3. Really like the hearts! The more details/directions the better - there is such a wide range of experience when it comes to stitching and sewing!

  4. Thank you for your input, Wonky Girl, debbie, Kelli and Sue! And also thanks for your compliment on the heart! I am done with the quilt top and the instructions, and yes there will be kits!! I think the price is $20.00 for the kit! They are not on the website yet, but if you email and ask for "BE Mine" quilt kit, we will know!!! Jeni

  6. Hey Becky! I'll save one back for you! Glad you like the little quilts! They are fun to make for me too! It's nice to have that instant gratification amongst the big ones that take longer! Or forever, in my case! Ha!

  7. Love your quilt design. I need details and lot's of photos so that I can understand completely.

  8. I love your quilt. Where did you get the pattern? I am a visual person, so I like lots of directions with pics.

  9. Thanks Mimi, Micki and Quilt Hollow! I made up the pattern on my EQ7 program! Nice and easy to make! We'll have patterns available on our website, www.woolenwillow.com, and hopefully kits also! Thanks again, Jeni

  10. I like the old fashioned look to the heart quilt.
I say write instructions for the beginner quilter so that all can be happy. More experienced quilters can just skip through what they already know.
