October Small Quilts Club

After spending all morning straightening up my sewing room, I worked with some scraps from previous small quilts club projects to decide on our project this month! I have different fabric picked out for the actual quilt, so this is just a sneak peak! Hope I get started on the actual one and have it finished for Friday's class!

Anyone interested in a give away???? I will wait for comments and see!

  1. I like the "sew crazy" mini quilt you made. I wish you were located so far from me - I would love to take one of your classes.

I am always in the mood for a giveaway!

  5. Cynthia, Thanks! How far are you from us? I will have to post how I made that crazy block on here! I'm making a pattern booklet for the wool applique designs that I put on both of them!

  6. Jennifer!
Thanks very much! They were some of my favorite pieces in my stash! Unfortunately I don't have the bolts at the shop anymore, so I'll have to make the actual sample for class out of new fabric! I got it picked out today and made a bunch of blocks. I hope to get it all sewn together by the time I go back to the shop tomorrow, so I can quilt it in the long arm! The last one I did on my home machine, and it just makes my shoulders all tense! LOL! I'll post about the give away soon! I think it will be a hand made item! Fun!

  7. Jacqueline, yes, they are really fun blocks to make! It is my first time making them, and I can see where it would be a great one to do for linus project quilts! Fast, you can put lots of colors in it easily and fun to make! I think I'll do a large one also! I'll post about the give away as soon as I figure out what it will be!
