Quilt Retreat pictures!

I'm not the best picture taker, and since I was having so much fun sewing and visiting, that I didn't take very many! We had 5 customer friends at our retreat and 8 family members including myself! We held our retreat at North Bend State Park in West Virginia, less than an hour from the shop! So here are some pictures!  I'm heading to Salt Lake City, Utah with my sister Judy for Quilt Market on Wednesday, and I'll try to keep you posted on how that goes!  We'll be having a booth with the magazine!

This is Aunt Judy sewing! She is also smiling at the camera in the picture above! She is my Mom's sister. Mom and Bethany my niece are in the picture above with their backs to the camera! You can also see Karen, Vera and Myra in that picture!

The cute little boy is my niece Bethany's son Avery! He was staying with his Grandpa while Bethany got some fun Mommy time! She is expecting another baby and made the cutest little things for her baby to be, and also a nice pirate bag for Avery!  Bethany's mom is my sister Sally who was also at the retreat!
Carolyn's Bunny Rug! Carolyn is a really fast rug hooker!!!

Charlotte, reading a pattern and her daughter, Cherie rug hooking!

These scissors belonged to my Great-Grandmother Anna Sarah Dickson! They have been sharpened so many times they don't cut near the points anymore! What a treasure! I think my Aunt Judy brought them!
Great Grandma was a quilter!

Cousin Jill, Aunt Judy's daughter, sewing on her "lasagna" quilt!
Jill's Lasagna Quilt!  In the background in pink is Aunt Martha, Moms other sister, and our friend Myra!

Karen, Vera and Sally sewing away!

Karen's Sunshine wall hanging!

Karen's Sunshine on my Shoulders wall hangings

Mom sewing on her featherweight!

Sally's Wool Crazy purse!

More sewing! Aunt Martha in Pink, Myra over by the window!

Vera! Making a Sunshine on my Shoulders quilt also! That is her chain of Dresden blades!

It is nice that they have a mix of hooking and quilting.
