Doggie Quilt!

Okay, I know it isn't primitive, but it is for a good cause and darn cute!  The designer is Kimberly Rado, and it is called "Dog Daze."  I am making it for a donation to the Humane Society's "Fur Ball" Auction at the American Legion next weekend!  I'm having the most fun making it, using colors I don't work with normally!  She also has  a Cat quilt. The pattern is a free download from Fons and Porter's website!  Go get it!!!!!   They call for foundation piecing, but since the pieces weren't small, I decided to do it sort of like a "Stack and Wack!"  It worked great! I might make another one to keep for a baby gift, it is so darn cute!  I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, it sure was beautiful!

  1. I didn't realize it was pieced, thought it was applique, lol.
Love the fun colors you are using, that is what I would do too.
I like the idea of fun prints for the background and dog shades for them, definitely have to make one.
