Okay, for the classes at the shop, I was having to take up valuable space bringing in a folding table to put the "big board" ironing board on, and it was wobbly too! The other options were an old fashioned ironing board, also wobbly and shaped funny for quilts, and ironing pads, which also take up space on the tables, or require another table. Well, I had a great old cabinet that was the bottom to hold a big hutch cabinet in the room to hold class supplies. I was using one of those ironing pads on it, but it didn't cover the whole top, leaving the wood top exposed! This morning, I covered it with a heat protecting cloth, batting, and a pretty tape measure fabric! Thanks to a handy staple gun, ta da!!!!!
Love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I converted a table for my ironing board too, but didn't use cute fabric like you did!
ReplyDeleteI love that, what a wonderful idea and space saver. My board is always in the way and a pain to use, rather have a solid one.
