Look what I had to buy!

I have been really sick while at market, and spent hours in an urgent care between market and Festival! Yuck! Feeling a little better now, and had to buy this beautiful book from Quiltmania, by Yoko Sato! So pretty!

Sorry you didn't get better quickly. Isn't that a wonderful book? Did you see the Dutch quilt hardback book? I wish I would have bought it but it's probably best I didn't because my luggage was very heavy. Hope festival goes well and that you feel better soon.

I've had that book for a while and love the quilt on the cover. I promised myself that I wouldn't sign up for any more BOMs but weakened when I saw that Homestead Hearth will be doing that quilt in Japanese taupe fabrics next year.

  5. Watch out Jeni, I bought my first Yoko Saito book 3 years ago and it changed the way I look at fabric. She is wonderful and so is Quiltmania.

  6. I saw the quilt on the front of the book when Quiltmania editor, Carol was out here in Australia in July. It was magnificent. The straight line quilting was simple but really made the quilt look wonderful. Enjoy your book. Hope you are feeling better soon.
